Vacuum
Areas to clean: All shared spaces and hallway
- Move furniture and objects to access all floor areas
- Vacuum under rugs and mats
- Use crevice tool for corners and edges
- Pay special attention to high-traffic areas
- Empty vacuum bag/canister when finished
- Store vacuum cleaner properly after use

Mop
Areas to clean: All shared spaces and hallway (preferably after vacuuming)
- Sweep or vacuum first to remove loose debris
- Use appropriate floor cleaner for the surface type
- Start from the farthest corner and work toward the exit
- Wring mop thoroughly to avoid oversaturation
- Pay attention to sticky spots and stains
- Rinse mop frequently in clean water
- Allow floors to air dry completely
- Clean and store mop and bucket properly

Kitchen
Areas to clean: All kitchen surfaces, appliances, and dining area
- Countertops: Clear, wipe with appropriate cleaner, disinfect
- Stovetop & Oven: Clean burners, drip pans, oven exterior, and control knobs
- Sink: Scrub sink basin, faucet, and surrounding area
- Table: Clear and wipe dining table and chairs
- Appliances: Wipe exterior of microwave, refrigerator, and other appliances
- Cabinets: Wipe cabinet fronts and handles
- Take out trash if full and replace liner
- Load/unload dishwasher if applicable

Shower
Areas to clean: Shower area, sink, and floor
- Shower walls: Spray with bathroom cleaner, scrub tile/walls, rinse thoroughly
- Shower door/curtain: Clean glass doors or wash curtain as needed
- Shower floor: Scrub with brush, pay attention to grout lines
- Sink area: Clean sink basin, faucet, and surrounding counter
- Mirror: Clean mirror above sink with glass cleaner
- Floor: Sweep/vacuum, then mop with bathroom cleaner
- Replace towels if needed
- Ensure proper ventilation during and after cleaning

Toilet

- Sink & vanity: Clean sink, faucet, counter, and mirror
- Bathroom floor: Sweep/vacuum entire floor, then mop thoroughly
- All walls: Wipe down all bathroom walls, especially near fixtures
- Ventilation: Clean exhaust fan cover if accessible
- Accessories: Clean towel bars, toilet paper holder, soap dispensers
- Replace towels and bath mats as needed
- Ensure all surfaces are disinfected

Laundry
Complete laundry process from washing to drying
- Washing: Sort clothes by color and fabric type
- Load washing machine with appropriate amount

- Drying: Transfer clothes promptly after wash cycle
- Hang delicate items on drying rack properly
- Use clothespins or hangers to prevent wrinkles

Active Alex Mode (30% chance)
Alex has been less active with household duties lately, so his probability is increased to balance the workload distribution.
Siesta Stan Mode (10% chance)
Stan is currently overwhelmed with work/studies and needs some relief, so his task probability is reduced temporarily.

- Supplies: Use appropriate cleaning products for each surface type
- Order: Clean from top to bottom, dry to wet surfaces
- Timing: Complete tasks within the assigned week
- Quality: Take pride in your work - others will use these spaces too
- Communication: If you can't complete a task, communicate with housemates
- Supplies: Let others know if cleaning supplies are running low
